VISION

A resilient, supportive and accessible creative industry with the capacity to change the world.

MISSION

Never Not Creative exists to support the evolution of our creative industry. We’ll lead the way in disrupting industry culture to include and welcome all backgrounds, ethnicity and ability. We’ll improve mental wellbeing by providing support and education. We’ll break open the industry and give greater accessibility for a diverse range of talent; and we’ll help creatives to manage a fairer balance of power and respect with their clients.

principles

01

NEVER NOT POSITIVE

When you're righting wrongs it's easy to get carried away with the negatives and the perpetrators. We're not on a witch-hunt. We'll assume that everyone is doing their best, or doesn't know better. It's our role to show the positives and highlight the champions.

02

NEVER NOT CREATING

There's a reason we exist. Decades of inactivity by other groups / organisations. We’re going to lead by example. We will be active, creating avenues, initiatives and forums for change. Discussion and debating have their place, but they've gotten us nowhere. We'll be walking before we're talking.

03

NEVER NOT HONEST

We don't have the baggage of legacy or bureaucracy. We'll be truly answerable to our community with our beliefs, our solutions and our willingness to try where others have given up. We may not always get it right, but we'll be brutally honest with ourselves and others where things are wrong.

04

NEVER NOT DIVERSE

We must be our own role model. Creative communities thrive when they harness the ideas, opinions and solutions of a variety of perspectives. It's the community we want to create, grow and be an active part of.

goals

MENTAL WELLBEING

Improve the ability to look after ourselves, support each other and develop better creative leaders.

01
02

ACCESSIBILITY & INCLUSION

The education and promotion of industry and workplace cultures that make our industry a place to thrive for ethnically diverse people, women and other non-binary genders, and / or people with disabilities.

03

INDUSTRY PATHWAYS

Create the conditions and opportunities for new talent embarking on the industry to succeed and make sure that our past practices don't close the door to future opportunities.

04

VALUE & RESPECT

Improve the ability of creatives to understand the value of their work, how to present it and be commercially rewarded for the value that it provides, along with creating the relationship boundaries that lead to great creative output.
