International Women's Day has become that day when the burden of equality gets recognised but passed on to women across the world. Another day where women will be tapped on the shoulder to be ‘celebrated’ and to ‘inspire’ others. Then we can all go back to ‘normal’ for another 364 days before we have to roll the eyes and do it all over again. Which, let’s face it – is more than a bit f*cked.
